If you wish to vacate our home then you must either sell your unit back to us or to someone willing to make a commitment for a Schizophrenia patient they know.
Hello everyone. We are a group of elder parents whose sons, daughters or family members have suffered or are suffering from mental illnesses. Our greatest concern is, "What will happen to them once we are gone?" In order to find a solution to that question we have begun a project. This project which may potentially help a lot of people with mental illnesses is what this blog is all about
Our Plan...
We wish to buy a property or piece of land where we can construct a twelve to fifteen suite apartment building for individuals with mental disorders. A home where each patient can live in his or her room. A common room where they can gather and talk to each other. A dining hall where they could all eat together as one extended family. A care taker will also be housed in the same facility. He will cook and take care of house keeping duties.
The advantage of buying the unit is that there will be less strain on the mortgage paid to construct the facility and it will ensure that there will be no problem of relocation.
